FAQs

Q. will we travel to your wedding location?

A. yes. Additional fees may be applied to cover expenses and travel days.

Q Who will be photographing my wedding?

A: You may request to meet with a specific photographer but in most cases Homer will lead weddings in VT and surrounding areas and Greg will lead weddings in NYC.  You may also request both Homer and Greg for certain packages.

Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?

A: No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.

Q: How many images do you typically deliver?

A: we topically deliver around 500-600 images for a wedding and anywhere from 50-100 images per engagement shoot. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of coverage hours.

Q: Do you touch up all the images in you give us?

A: Yes we do. Every image we deliver is post produced with our unique signature style of post production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections. We also provide more custom post production work as an additional service

Q: What is the difference between standard and custom post production?

A: Custom post production is anything that requires extensive, custom work in Photoshop such as removing entire objects from the scene, changing the size and shape of body parts or other objects in the scene, adding objects to a scene and other custom work. We charge hourly for the custom post production as the time required ranges depending on the complexity of the project and would give an estimate before starting the process.

Q. Do you provide partial day coverage?

A.We typically do not provide partial day coverage on weekends

Q: Can I see a full event from start to finish?

A: Of course! We pride ourselves on the consistency of our work. That is why we encourage all of our potential clients to view full events from all photographers they meet with to see how well the photographer performs throughout the day.

Q: My venue is very dark. How do you handle these situations?

A:We embrace the challenges and artistic benefits that come with low light photography. If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting but some ceremony grounds do not allow for flash photography and in certain times it could be a distraction. For that reason, we shoot on camera’s and lenses with superb low-light performance.

Q: What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?

A: We understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding. We never pack up until our client (you) are ready for us to and moreover we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. If things run much over we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the rates specified in your contract rounded to the closest 30-minute increment.

Q: Can we schedule our engagement session for the weekend?

A; Because most weddings occur on weekends, we typically do not shoot engagement sessions on weekends. If you can only do your engagement session on a weekend, we can tentatively schedule your engagement session on a weekend, however, if a wedding is scheduled for that weekend later on, we will have to reschedule your engagement session.

Q: Do you make photo Albums?

Yes! We pride ourselves in the books that come out of our studio and design them all in-house. From there we go over the album design with you to ensure that everything looks perfect and send it out to the printers. We parter with some of the best album manufactures in the world to create stunning books for both weddings and engagement sessions.

Q: Do you make prints?

We offer a large verity of prints in many sizes on all types of materials including fine art papers, photo papers, metal and wrapped canvas. We sell prints directly through our proofing site so this means that you or anyone that you share the link with can go on and purchase whatever prints they want and get them shipped to where ever the would like.

Q: How long does it take to get my album?

As with our other products, production times vary. However, you can typically expect to receive your album 4-6 weeks after placing the order. The process prior to placing the order varies in duration depending on how quickly you respond to the instructions for the album design as well as the amount of changes you request after the initial designs.

Q: How many pages and images do we get in our wedding day album?

A: Base albums come with 15 spreads, that is 30 pages. Depending on the design the average speed can help 1-5 images so think between 50-60 images. You can add more spreads but only before the design process begins. After that we would have to re-design the album to add pages or change sizes.

A: We do not provide framing services, however, we can provide you with recommendations on where to purchase and frame your images.

Q: If we’ve purchase printing rights, what size can we print our photos up to with our full resolution image download?

Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints?

A: If you have purchased printing rights then you have the right to reprint images whenever you want.
